Jonathan Herring
Exeter College/Law Faculty (Oxford University)
- studied law at Hertford College, Oxford University before training as a solicitor;
- took Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) at Oxford;
- taught at Oxford and Cambridge, before taking up fellowship at Exeter.
At Exeter, he teaches Criminal Law, Family Law and Medical Law and Ethics for the BA degree in Jurisprudence.
On the BCL course, he teaches on the Children Families and the State and Medical Law and Ethics papers.
He also supervises DPhil students. Topics he has supervised cover everything from rights for girls, to ownership of bodily material; from care of older people, to mental capacity.
