In memoriam: Diego-Manuel Luzón Peña

The Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult.Diego-Manuel Luzón Peña and to all the colleagues of his scientific centre, on the date of his passing.

He was a great professor and scholar of criminal law, with an international standing. He was a friend of the IDPCC, with whom he collaborated on several occasions at conferences and who published in our journal — serving as President of the prestigious International Foundation of Penal Sciences (Fundación Internacional de Ciencias Penales).

The image of his scientific rigour, his wisdom, and his fraternal concern for the members of the IDPCC is unforgettable.
