In session #2 of the Permanent Seminar Law in Analysis, the CIDPCC is honoured to host Catarina Frois, Professor at ISCTE and Researcher at CRIA, who will present the research project Convicted Women, Stories from Inside Prison, published in 2017 by Tinta da China and, the English edition, by Springer.
The session will take place on June 8th, at 14h00, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (room 12.09), with free admission.
The initial presentation will be followed by a period of debate. We shall discuss, particularly, the methodological issues associated with the ethnographic practice and the results obtained by research.
The Permanent Seminar Law in Analysis is a laboratory of discussion and experimentation of the discoursive practices that constitute the theoretical and methodological acquis of Social Sciences, organized by the Research Group Law in Analysis – Workshop on Anthropology, History, and Sociology of Legal Practices and Representations of the Research Centre of Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
